UOG Policy for the Protection of Minors
The University values its employees and students, and recognizes the importance that Minors have in their lives, on and off campus. The University also values its Programs that involve Minors. The safety and welfare of Minors who visit our campus, participate in our Programs, and are entrusted to our care is always of paramount importance. In order to help assure that safety, the University’s policy is that Minors are to be afforded protections whenever they are present on campus or participating in our Programs, which might be off campus and off island.
UOG Policy Prohibiting Sex Discrimination
This policy sets forth clear legal obligations wherein the University of Guam prohibits sex discrimination and wherein it will promptly respond to individuals who are alleged to be victims of sex discrimination in all its forms including, but not limited to, sexual harassment, sexual assault, sex offenses, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and inappropriate amorous relationships by offering supportive measures, by following a fair grievance process to resolve such allegations, and by providing remedies to victims of sex discrimination.

Student Opportunities
Students can now take wildlife biology courses from UF or do a semester abroad at partner universities.
The University of Guam is now accepting applications for its paid Student Research Experience (SRE) program for undergraduate students for the 2025 term. This year-long research internship offers hands-on lab experience, faculty mentoring, and a monthly stipend of $500. Interested students can apply by October 31, 2024, to gain valuable experience in STEM fields under the guidance of distinguished mentors.
