The University of Guam's Fanuchånan 2023 graduates heard an inspiring journey from the commencement speaker, a former high school dropout who grew up in poverty and became a Harvard University doctoral degree holder and internationally known speaker.

The University of Guam congratulates 220 prospective graduates who will receive their diplomas during the Fanuchånan Commencement at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, at the Calvo Field House.

Dr. David Atienza, Professor of Anthropology and Micronesian Studies at the University of Guam, received the Ramón Hernández Literary Award from Ediciones Vitruvio in Spain.

The Isla Center for the Arts at the University of Guam invites the public to the Faculty Biennial Art Exhibit featuring recent works created by faculty members of the University's Fine Arts Program.
