Shared Values
Our vision and mission are guided by Inadahi yan Inagofli’e that reflect Micronesian culturally relevant, enduring, and meaningful concepts embedded in Inadahi meaning “taking care of myself, others, and the environment around me” and Inagofli’e’ meaning “harmonious way to proceed, operate, and live together” (BOR Resolution 22-24).
Our shared values of Respect, Compassion, and Community are rooted in Micronesia and her history.
We commit to:
-
Fostering equitable access in all facets of the educational experience.
-
Expanding a thriving community engagement ecosystem.
-
Engaging in robust scholarship, continuously seeking innovative solutions that meet local, regional, and global needs.
-
Creating and sustaining a conducive campus environment where we work and learn with inafa’maolek – meaning making it good for each other – with dignity.
