UOG Men's Soccer Drops 7-2 Match To Quality Distributors In Futsal League
The University of Guam Men's Soccer Team lost to Quality Distributors 7-2 on Sunday night in the Guam Football Association's Men's Futsal Soccer League at the Guam Sports Complex Gym.
The Tritons seemed to have the upper hand in the first 10 minutes of the game, as they held Quality scoreless and had some good scoring chances themselves, but then a Quality shot was deflected off a Triton leg and went into the UOG goal to give Quality Distributors the 1-0 lead and break the Triton momentum.
Quality struck twice again quickly with hard shots into the UOG goal from about 20 yards out and went up 3-0. The Tritons were able to score to make it 3-1, but Quality scored again before half to make it 4-1 at half-time.
Quality outscored UOG 3-1 in the second half to win the match 7-2.
Sean Evans and Kyle Legozzie scored for the Tritons in the match. UOG falls to 1-2-0 in the GFA Futsal Men's League and plays the BOG Strykers on Wednesday, August 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Guam Sports Complex Gym.
