Cheryl R. Sangueza, a UOG alumna, joined the University of Guam in 2010. Prior to this time, she was a secondary math and science teacher for 13 years and taught in New York, Washington, and Guam. She is currently the Program Chair for the M.Ed in Innovations in Teaching and Learning.
Dr. Sangueza serves as the Co-PI for the NSF Eddie Bernice Johnson INCLUDES: SEAS Islands Alliance and is the coordinator for UOG EPSCoR student programs. She is also the PI for the Alfred P. Sloan grant which addresses successful pathways to research and graduate studies. Her expertise and passion in teaching and learning, science education, and sense of belonging shapes her work with all university levels, in research, and in education and science communities.
