Start College Early While in High School
The University of Guam gives high school students a chance to take real college classes before graduation. These classes let you earn both high school and college credits at the same time.
Programs Available
Dual Enrollment Program

For juniors and seniors in Guam public high schools

Take UOG college classes while still in high school

You can earn high school and college credit together
-
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA

Need a recommendation from a counselor or principal

You must take two placement tests: English ($10) and Math ($25)
Advanced High School Program

For all high school seniors (public, private, or charter)

Take UOG classes with regular college students

Must have at least a 3.0 GPA

Need a recommendation from your school

You must take two placement tests: English ($10) and Math ($25)

You must place into college-level English or Math classes
7 Simple Steps

Talk to your high school counselor first.

They will help you choose a program and start the forms.

Get the official forms for the program you want (see the Forms section on this page).

Ask your counselor to send your high school records to UOG Admissions.

Create your UOG CollegeNET account and complete the UOG application.

Check your UOG email for updates and next steps.

Take the English and Math tests before you register for classes.

English Preparedness Test: $10 fee

Math Placement Test: $25 fee

Register for your UOG classes once you are accepted.

Meet with a UOG Academic Advisor
