KEY RESULTS

  1. Increase 1st to 2nd Year student retention rate.

  2. Increase 4-Year and 6-Year graduation rate.

  3. Maintain National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) Student Satisfaction Rate

  4. Increase student satisfaction rates for courses.

STRATEGIC ACTIONS

  1. Expand and ensure equitable access to comprehensive student support services, including academic, financial, and career advisement, mentoring, tutoring, health and wellness resources, and funding opportunities, to promote retention and graduation success.

  2. Foster engaging and impactful learning and campus life experiences, such as internships, practicums, capstones, and co-curricular activities, to enhance student persistence and preparation for post-graduation success.

  3. Deliver regular academic advising updates and professional development for faculty, ensuring consistent and effective guidance that supports students’ academic and career trajectories.

  4. Administer and utilize insights from UOG’s Student Satisfaction Survey to inform improvements in services and programs that drive retention and graduation outcomes.

  5. Strengthen the collection, analysis, and use of post-graduation statistics, such as job and graduate school placement data, to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of student preparation and guided support services.
