What is Educational Talent Search?
Educational Talent Search (ETS) is one of three Federal TRIO Programs at the University of Guam funded by the U.S Department of Education. The program is designed to identify and assist individuals who have the potential to succeed in higher education. ETS serves 738 students in 8th-12th grades where two-thirds of the participants must be potential first-generation college students (neither parents graduated from college) and from low-income families.

Am I Eligible?
Applicants must be middle school or high school students who are potential first-generation college students (neither parents/legal guardians completed a college education from a U.S. accredited institution) and have met the family income guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Education. Furthermore, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident or a permanent resident of Guam, CNMI, Palau, FSM or RMI, or have have an Alien Registration number or "Green Card" from the U.S. Immigration & Naturalization Service.
