From Roots to Reef: Connecting Experiences in STEM

The University of Guam CNAS STEM Conference is a student-led event that 1) showcases the work of local students, 2) delves into current local matters and research on Guam, and 3) explores the many opportunities available to STEM students!
Learn about various STEM related fields, including Agriculture, Plant Sciences, Biology (Biomedical, Environmental, Marine), Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science and Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, and more!
The conference is open to all high school students, undergraduate and graduate students, and individuals interested in learning about STEM!
All poster and oral presentation abstracts must be submitted through the abstract submission link. Oral presentations (graduate students only) will be accepted as PowerPoint presentations. Poster presenters (both undergraduate and graduate) will be required to provide their own printed poster. After abstract submission and acceptance, all poster and oral presentations will be scheduled.
Abstracts are expected to be no more than 250 words, with correct grammar, spelling, and sentence structure, i.e., with editing and proofreading prior to submission. The general criteria for abstracts are as follows.
All abstracts are expected to include the following:
Hypothesis or statement about the problem being investigated, or why the research is important.
Methods and/or controls.
Result and discussion of findings.
Conclusion, future research, and key references.
Acknowledgements of institution/organization(s).
