In the opening match of the evening at the UOG Calvo Field House, ButterHouse defeated HAGGAN 3-2 in a close five-set battle. ButterHouse took the first set 25-21, but HAGGAN responded by winning the next two sets 25-20 and 25-22 to take a 2-1 lead in the match.

ButterHouse evened the match with a hard-fought 27-25 victory in the fourth set, forcing a deciding fifth set. HAGGAN jumped out to an early 6-2 lead, but ButterHouse battled back to tie the score at 7-7.

HAGGAN held an 8-7 advantage when the teams switched sides, but ButterHouse finished strong down the stretch to win the fifth set 15-12 and secure the match.

ButterHouse is now 3-0 in the Triton League, while HAGGAN fell to 2-1.

The UOG Tritons and UMITIDE played a mistake-filled match, with both teams struggling to find consistency throughout the night.

The Tritons were adjusting to several new players added to the roster, and the team struggled with communication and teamwork on the court.
UOG played its best volleyball of the night in the opening set, holding off UMITIDE for a 25-22 victory after giving up a large lead late in the set. The Tritons stayed close in the next two sets but were unable to get over the top and lost 25-22 and 26-24.

UOG lost its motivation after two close losses and finished the match with a 25-18 loss in the fourth set.

UMITIDE is now 1-2 in the league, while UOG falls to 0-3.
