The game was close in the first quarter, with Fuetsa winning 14-10 after 10 minutes. Nicolette Perez led Fuetsa with 10 points in the quarter, matching the Lady Tritons’ total. Fuetsa then put 22 points on the scoreboard in the second period, with five players chipping in to score, while Lady Tritons could only manage 13 points and fell behind 36-24 at halftime.

  Sarsalejo, scored 20 points in the second half and helped push Fuetsa to a 26-point third quarter. Fuetsa took a 62-37 lead after three quarters and put the game out of reach for the Lady Tritons. Sarsalejo outscored Lady Tritons herself in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 points while the Lady Tritons had 10 points in the period. Fuetsa won the game 86-46. Perez and Sarsalejo scored 20 points each for Fuetsa, while Phaedra Taijeron led UOG with 12 points and Mylie Navarro added 11.

   Fuetsa is now 4-0 in the Super League, while the Lady Tritons fell to 1-3. In the opening game, the Stingrays got their first win in the Super League over the BallHers in a tight 50-44 win. The BallHers jumped out to an 11-point lead in the first quarter, 16-5, with Emily Duenas scoring all five points for the Stingrays. Duenas got help in the second period, with six other Stingrays scoring during the period.

 The Stingrays outscored the BallHers 18-14 and cut the BallHers’ lead to seven points going into halftime, 30-23.

  The Stingrays played good defense in the second half, holding the BallHers to 14 total points in the final 20 minutes while scoring 27 points themselves. They trailed 38-35 at the end of the third period before taking the lead and going on to win the game 50-44 in the fourth quarter. Ellie Tesoro and Zara Muna led the Stingrays with 11 points each.

The Stingrays are now 1-2 in the Super League, while the BallHers stayed winless at 0-3.
