UOG School of Business earns IACBE Accreditation through 2032

The University of Guam School of Business and Public Administration has earned reaffirmation of specialized accreditation from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) through December 31, 2032.

The accreditation covers the MBA, Master of Accountancy, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting programs.
 
"This accreditation reaffirms the quality of our programs and reflects the dedication of our faculty and business community partners who provide internships and opportunities that advance business education," said Dr. Roseann Jones, Dean of SBPA. "It validates our commitment to outcomes-based education that prepares students to make a difference in business and public service wherever their careers take them."
 
IACBE accreditation involves rigorous evaluation of academic quality, student learning outcomes, faculty qualifications, and community engagement. The review team commended SBPA for its commitment to continuous improvement, effective assessment strategies, and active collaboration with community and business partners.
 
"This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality education that meets the needs of our region," said Dr. Anita Borja Enriquez, UOG President. "SBPA continues to produce graduates who lead in public service, private enterprise, and entrepreneurship across the Pacific."
"IACBE accreditation ensures our business-education partnership produces graduates with the skills and knowledge employers need," said Mark J. Sablan, Vice President Business Development SPPC and Chairman of the SBPA Advisory Council.
 
SBPA's Advisory Council members include Bank of Guam, Calvo's Select Care, Ernst & Young, LLP, Foremost Foods, Inc. / Coca-Cola Beverage Co., Goodwind Travel and Tour Company, Joint Task Force Micronesia, Joint Region Marianas, Matson Navigation Company, P.H.R. Ken Micronesia, Inc., South Pacific Petroleum Corporation, and Teleguam Holdings, LLC.
 
SBPA serves as a regional hub for business education throughout Micronesia. Alumni include executives at DocomoPacific, GTA Teleguam, Coast360, and leaders throughout government and business. SBPA's public administration degree programs are accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA).
