Fuetsa and BallHers faced little resistance in their opening games of the Lady Triton Super League on Tuesday night at the UOG Calvo Field House. BallHers opened the spring season with a 71-24 victory over JusForFuns, while Fuetsa rolled past the Lady Tritons 121-48 in the nightcap.

In the opener, JusForFuns dealt with uniform issues and was limited to just six players in the first quarter, as five teammates waited for their uniforms to arrive. With several top scorers unavailable, JusForFuns managed only three points in the opening period, while BallHers built a 17-3 lead after the first quarter.

Uniforms arrived in time for the second quarter, and JusForFuns showed improvement, while BallHers struggled to find its rhythm offensively. JusForFuns edged BallHers 7-6 in the period, but BallHers still carried a 23-10 lead into halftime.

The second half belonged entirely to BallHers, who outscored JusForFuns 48-14 and pulled away for a 71-24 win.

Tazjaa Gipson and Jenna DeLoach led BallHers with 15 points each, while Cassie Hernandez paced JusForFuns with 12. BallHers opened the season at 1-0, while JusForFuns dropped to 0-1.

In the nightcap, the Lady Tritons entered the spring season with high expectations after a .500 fall campaign and a third-place Super League finish. Those hopes unraveled early, as Fuetsa surged ahead and handed UOG a 121-48 loss.

The Lady Tritons struck first on a three-pointer by Maria Duenas, but Fuetsa quickly took control. Jia Peters scored 11 points in the opening quarter, while Nic Perez added nine, pushing Fuetsa to a 31-9 lead after one period. Fuetsa continued to extend the margin in the second quarter, scoring 25 points while UOG again managed just nine, trailing 56-18 at halftime.

Fuetsa cruised through the second half, pouring in 65 points, while the Lady Tritons added 30. The final score stood at 121-48 in favor of Fuetsa.
Peters led Fuetsa with 27 points, while the Perez sisters combined for 41, with Nic scoring 21 and Leesey adding 20. Duenas finished with 21 points for the Lady Tritons. Fuetsa opened the season at 1-0, while UOG fell to 0-1.
