The Lady Triton Volleyball League returned on Monday, April 30, after last week’s typhoon on Guam. The Lady Tritons lost to VIBE 3-0, while the Rogues also defeated Guam Pro 3-0 in make-up matches from last week’s schedule.

In the opening match, the Lady Tritons showed some rust after a full week off and lost the first set to VIBE 25-19. The rust was more noticeable in the second set, as UOG lost 25-13. Four of their first five serves in the set went into the net. The Tritons played better in the third set but still lost 25-23, dropping the match 3-0.

VIBE is now 3-0 on the season and leads the Triton League. UOG is 0-3 on the season.

In the second match of the night, Guam Pro showed signs of rust. The Rogues took control early and won the first set easily, 25-11. Guam Pro improved in the second set but still lost 25-18.

Guam Pro played well in the third set and built a five-point lead late. However, the Rogues showed their strength and came back to win 27-25, securing the set and the match 3-0.

The Rogues are now 2-1 on the season, while Guam Pro fell to 1-2.
