Triton Athletics Names Five Scholarship Recipients for Fall 2026

The University of Guam’s Triton Athletics and Field House Department announced five scholarship recipients for the Fall 2026 semester on Monday. The scholarships were funded by Triton Athletics and the UOG Student Government using proceeds from the Charter Day 5K/2K Race held in March 2026.
The five scholarship recipients are:
- Genesis Carrawell – Women’s Basketball
- Marcus Novicio – Men’s Volleyball
- Maria Duenas – Women’s Basketball
- Javan Naputi – Men’s Basketball
- Yoonji (Bom) Seo – Women’s Basketball
To be eligible for the scholarship, student-athletes had to be returning athletes from the 2025-2026 academic year, maintain a minimum 3.00 GPA, and submit a 500-word essay describing what makes being a student-athlete meaningful to them. All five recipients met the eligibility requirements and were each awarded a $500 scholarship for the Fall 2026 semester.
The scholarship funds will be credited to each recipient’s student account at the University of Guam to help cover tuition costs for the semester
