UOG Horizons: Knowledge For Life - Physical Therapy: Movement, healing, and a path to better living
My name is Tasi Ada and I am a capped rugby athlete turned clinician and coach. I became a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2021, an Adjunct Professor for the Margaret Perez Hattori-Uchima School of Health at the University of Guam since 2023, and a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist this year. Most of my days are spent training, evaluating and treating patients, personal training clients (in-person or remotely), instructing group exercise classes, creating strength and conditioning programs, and serving as Team Physio for numerous sports on Guam. I’ve dedicated my life to health and fitness, sports and rehabilitation. With that being said, I have the privilege of celebrating Physical Therapy Month (October) and sharing a little more about the profession with you all.
