As we near the close of this year, I want to extend my warmest holiday wishes and sincere appreciation to each of you who contribute to the University of Guam’s mission every day.

This season gives us the opportunity to reflect on a year of growth, achievement, and meaningful momentum — a year that truly embodied the spirit of Tulos Mo’na, as we propelled forward together with purpose.

Among this year’s most visible signs of progress are the new facilities that now stand on our campus — the Dr. Lucio C. Tan Student Success Center, the School of Engineering Building, the Margaret Perez Hattori-Uchima School of Health Nursing Annex, and the new Water & Environmental Research Institute Building.

These additions are more than buildings — they are bold investments to support our students, our faculty, and our region’s future. They reflect our vision to transform lives and advance communities through exceptional education, research, and public service.

Through your hard work and hearts for service, we continue to enrich our students' experiences, deliver public value, and expand UOG’s reach across Guam and Micronesia. Thank you for your part in this shared journey.

As we enter the holiday season, may you find time to rest, reconnect, and rejoice in the traditions and relationships that sustain you.

And to our students completing their degrees this month — Biba! Your accomplishments inspire us and reaffirm the power of a UOG education.
