The University of Guam celebrated the official relaunch of its Triton Privileges program today with a special event on campus that welcomed students, employees, alumni, and local business partners to explore the all-new platform and its benefits.

Triton Privileges is the university’s exclusive perks program offering discounts and special deals from a growing network of more than 60 Guam-based merchants — including restaurants, shops, service providers, and entertainment venues. The program is free and accessible to all current and former UOG students, alumni, and employees through a user-friendly web application at privileges.uog.edu.

The relaunch event, held at the UOG School of Business & Public Administration Atrium, featured vendor recognitions, a live demo of the platform, and opportunities for Tritons to connect directly with participating businesses. Attendees also enjoyed giveaways, refreshments, and raffle prizes — all highlighting the program’s mission to strengthen ties between UOG and the local business community.

“The Triton Privileges program is more than just deals and discounts — it’s a celebration of the connections and partnerships between UOG and our local businesses,” said Jonas Macapinlac, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.

Triton Privileges originally launched in 2014 as a discount program for alumni and expanded in 2019 into an award-winning mobile app. The newly relaunched version is a complete rebuild — redesigned from the ground up as a responsive, modern web application through a joint effort by UOG’s Marketing & Communications Office and the Office of Information Technology and developed entirely in-house by UOG’s Web Team.
