In Memoriam: Jeremy Cepeda

The University mourns the loss of Jeremy Cepeda, Micronesian Area Research Center (MARC) Research Associate, on September 24, 2024, at the age of 39. He was a valued and dedicated member of the CHamoru Language and Culture Researcher Training Program, funded through a federal grant by the Administration for Native Americans.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 8:00 a.m., at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Toto.
Last respects will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the Guam Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leyang, Barrigada from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by interment at the Guam Memorial Park Cemetery.
The University offers our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Cepeda family and keeps them in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
