Call for Submissions: Storyboard 21 explores the 'Unfit'
The University of Guam’s Division of English & Applied Linguistics, in partnership with UOG Press, is now accepting submissions for the 21st issue of Storyboard: A Journal of Pacific Imagery.
The theme for Storyboard 21 is “Unfit.” Submissions are encouraged to examine the self-imposed or external boundaries that may have rendered their work "unfit" in the past.
Creative voices often feel pressured to conform to the norms and expectations of the spaces they share their work with. This can result in silencing stories that are considered unconventional, unacceptable, or not ready to be told.
Full submission guidelines and the submissions form can be accessed at https://uog.edu/uogpress/storyboard-journal/. The deadline for submissions is December 13, 2024.
Storyboard is a literary journal with the mission to foster and promote literary activity in
Guam and throughout the broader Pacific. Writers and artists in or from Micronesia,
as well as those whose work focuses on the region, are encouraged to submit original
and previously unpublished pieces.
