The UOG Tumon Tritons defeated Crushers FC 7-2 in the Guam Football Association Futsal League match held at the UOG Calvo Field House on Tuesday night, January 28.
The Tritons struck early, with Gio Rivera scoring in the 3rd minute. Thomas Odell added another goal two minutes later, putting UOG ahead 2-0 after five minutes in the match.
The Crushers responded with a goal in the 9th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1, but Rivera added another goal at the 20-minute mark, extending UOG’s lead to 3-1 at halftime.
In the second half, UOG added four more goals, with Javian Cruz netting two and Andrew Stevens scoring one. The Crushers FC added an “Own Goal” to make the final score Tritons 7, the Crushers 2.
UOG now holds a 4-7-0 record in the GFA Futsal League, while the Crushers FC moved to 0-11-0. The Tritons’ next match is scheduled for Thursday, January 30, at 7:30 p.m. against Guam Shipyard at the Dededo Sports Complex.
