University of Guam employees Francis Bautista, Bertha Meno, and Gus Meno were recently recognized for earning their Electrical Journeyman Certificates from the GCA Trades Academy after completing a rigorous training program from 2021 to 2025. Their advanced expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems will enhance efficiency and reliability across campus operations. They are joined by UOG leadership and colleagues in celebrating this achievement. Facilities Management and Services (FMS) personnel at the University of Guam recently completed the Electrical Journeyman certification through the GCA Trades Academy. UOG Electrician I employees Francis Bautista, Bertha Meno, and Gus Meno successfully earned their certifications after completing a rigorous training program from 2021 to 2025.

With this certification, their advanced expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems will help minimize downtime, improve efficiency, and contribute to long-term cost savings for the University.

The GCA Trades Academy certification program is designed to develop highly skilled technicians in various trades, providing professional growth opportunities while enhancing institutional efficiency.
