In the night's opening match, Team Elevate came out with a well-played 1st set as they beat the Andersen Bombers 25-16. Andersen responded with a close 25-22 win in the second, tying the match 1-1.

The Bombers took control of the match in the 3rd set, as they routed Elevate 25-16 and went up 2-1 in the match. Team Elevate fought back, winning a tight fourth set 27-25 after fending off multiple match points.

The 5th set to 15 remained close, tied at 8-7 when teams switched sides and later at 12-12. The Bombers made a final push to win 15-12.

Team Elevate was eliminated from the Triton League playoffs and finished the season with a 1-7 record. The Bombers moved to 3-5 for the season and survived until Saturday's next match at 3:00 pm.

In the winner's bracket match, the UOG Tritons started well, beating the #1 Seed Troupe in the opening set 25-20. In the following three sets, the Tritons struggled to get on top of Troupe again.

In the second, Troupe jumped to a 6-0 lead and never trailed, winning 28-26. The third set followed a similar pattern, with Troupe leading early and holding on for a 26-24 win.

Troupe sealed the match with a 25-21 victory in the fourth, advancing to the Championship Match of the Triton League. Troupe now has a 7-1 record in the season.

The UOG Tritons fell to 5-3 in the season and play the Andersen Bombers on Saturday to advance to the championship match on Sunday. Match time is set for 3:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday matches.
