Troupe, with three members of last fall season championship UOG Tritons on the team, played solidly in the first two sets with the Tritons, winning 25-16 and 25-18. The Tritons showed some life in the third set, winning a close one, 25-22, with a strong push toward the end of the set that Troupe could not overcome.

However, Troupe showed that they may be the class of the spring 2025 Triton League, with an easy 25-14 win in a set where UOG was never in the game, securing the match 3-1.

Troupe ended the first half of the regular season 3-0, having lost only one set across their three matches. The UOG Tritons are 1-2 so far in the Triton League.

Team Elevate, which had struggled in the Triton League, going 0-6 last fall and starting this season 0-2 with two 3-0 losses, finally got a win on Friday night with a 3-0 victory over the Andersen Bombers.

The match followed the same script for each set, with the Bombers taking a big lead early, only for Team Elevate to rally and win the set in the final moments. Elevate won the sets 25-21, 25-22, and 25-21.

Team Elevate is now 1-2 in the league, while the Bombers are also 1-2.

Troupe leads the Triton League with a 3-0 record, while the other three teams all stand at 1-2.
