Team Austability Takes Control in Second Half to Defeat KFC Bombers 95-83

****The KFC Bombers struggled to get going early, held scoreless for the first four minutes of the game, while Team Austability jumped out to a quick lead. Despite the cold start, both teams found their rhythm, and Austability held a narrow 18-17 edge after one quarter. The Bombers bounced back in the second, outscoring Austability and taking a slim 42-40 lead into halftime, powered by a strong inside presence and transition offense.

But the second half belonged to Team Austability. Behind a barrage of three-pointers from Joe

Blas and Zane Gillard, along with clutch defensive stops by DJ Osborne, Austability outpaced the Bombers in the final 20 minutes to secure the win. Joe Blas led all scorers with 28 points, while Taariq Harvey paced the Bombers with 25 in the losing effort.

The win moves Team Austability to 2-1, while the Bombers fall to 2-1 on the season.

FairZesh regrouped in the third quarter, with Chris Connor and Attau DKson combining for 26 points to fuel a comeback. Brozo helped MicroFriends halt the momentum with a pair of key threes early in the fourth to stretch the lead to 76-65. Both teams had opportunities to win it at the line, but each converted only one of two free throws, sending the game to overtime tied at 88.

In the extra period, both teams found themselves in foul trouble, turning the final minutes into a free-throw battle. MicroFriends held their nerve, knocking down clutch shots from the stripe while FairZesh faltered. MicroFriends pulled away late to win 108-97.

Ken Brozo had a standout performance with 37 points, including 11 three-pointers. Chris Connor led all scorers with 39 for FairZesh.
