In the opener, the MicroFriends and Fairzesh had a competitive battle for three quarters before the MicroFriends took control in the final quarter to seize the game 100-92.

Both teams started the game well, with the MicroFriend holding a 1-point lead after the first 10 minutes, 25-24. Fairzesh outscored the MicroFriends 31-26, with EJ Mori scoring 13 points in the period, leading Fairzesh to a 55-51 lead at halftime.

In the third period, Jose Ignacio scored 12 points for the MicroFriends, pulling them back into the lead going into the fourth period, 78-76. The final period turned into a defensive struggle as the MicroFriends held Fairzesh to 16 points over the final 10 minutes and scored 22 themselves to claim the game 100-92.

The MicroFriends were led by Jose Ignacio, who scored 28, while Ken Brozo and Lawerence Tisalona added 21 points each. Fairzesh were led by Dksonia Attan, who scored 23 points.

The MicroFriends are now 5-2 in the Triton League, while Fairzesh fell to 2-6.

Team Austability started cold shooting from the field in the nightcap but played solid defense, forcing the KFC Bombers to shoot long three-point shots to open the game. Team Austability made their free throws in the opening 10 minutes, scoring 9 points from the line and leading the first quarter 20-13.

Neither team could get untracked in the second period, with Team Austability still not hitting three-point shots but also holding the Bombers to zero points from three-point range. Austability won the quarter 22-16 and led at halftime 42-29.

The Bombers got their offense going in the third period, scoring 30 points and hitting four three-point shots, but Team Austability scored 25 and maintained their lead, ending the third quarter ahead 67-59.

Austability held their lead in the fourth period by playing tough defense and holding the Bombers to 13 points in the final quarter. The KFC team never got close in the final 10 minutes, and Team Austability won the game 87-72.

Joe Blas led the Austability team with 22 points, while Ben Borja scored 20. The KFC Bombers had Cortez Hixon score 15, while Chris Townsend added 12 points.

Team Austability is 6-1 in the Triton League, while the KFC Bombers fell to 5-2.

The game between the KFC Bombers and MicroFriends will determine the #2 Seed for the playoffs, but both teams will face each other in playoffs on Monday, April 21. Team Austability will play the winner of the opening game of the playoffs between Fairzesh and UOG Tritons, who plays, at Noon on Saturday, April 19.
