In the nightcap on Thursday, the Tritons received a gift before the match even started from Jared Agnon who was supposed to out with an injured ankle, but he entered the UOG Calvo Field House with permission to play in the match. This fired up the Tritons who went out and won the first two sets, 25-16 and 25-16 behind the serving of Isaac Limtiaco and the front line play of Agnon and others who dominated play in the first two sets.

The Bombers put on a struggle in the 3rd set, but the Tritons came out on top in a tough set 26-24 and won the match 3-0.

The Tritons are now 4-0 in the Triton Men's Volleyball League and the Bombers fell to 3-2 to finish the regular season as the #3 Seed in the playoffs.

In the opening match on Thursday night, the Southern Sutterez defeated Team Elevate 3-1. The two teams split opening sets, as both teams won a set 25-19 and were even at 1-1. But the Sutterez was able to dominate the 3rd set 25-18 and were able to hold off Team Elevate in the 4th set and won the set 25-22 and won the match 3-1.

Southern Sutterez finished the regular season 2-3 and will be the #4 Seed, in the playoffs. Team Elevate is now 0-4.

On Tuesday, October 1, U-Fly and the UOG Tritons play for the regular season championship and the #1 Seed in the playoffs at 6:30pm:

• 6:30pm - U-Fly (4-0) Vs. UOG Tritons (4-0)
• 8:15pm - Team Elevate (O-4) Vs. Umitde (0-4)

Team Elevate and Umitde play for their first win in the Triton League as well as the winner is the #5 Seed and the loser is the #6 Seed for the playoffs.
