AGA Guam Chapter awarded $1,500 Herminia Dierking Scholarships to UOG students Abigail UY and Princess Fernandez. The Association of Government Accountants (AGA) Guam Chapter recently awarded two $1,500 Herminia Dierking Scholarships to two University of Guam seniors, furthering the organization's commitment to supporting accounting, business, and public administration students. Abigail Uy is a senior public administration and criminal justice double major, and Princess Fernandez is a senior accounting major.

"Thank you to the AGA Guam Chapter for supporting UOG's college affordability initiative through these scholarships and providing transformative opportunities for our students to achieve their academic and career goals," said UOG President Anita Borja Enriquez. 
 
About the Scholarship
The Herminia Dierking Scholarship program is sponsored and funded jointly by the AGA Guam Chapter and private sector contributors in recognition of the achievements of the late Herminia H. Dierking, a Legislator, Educator, Humanitarian, Past President of the AGA Guam Chapter, Past Regional Vice President of AGA Pacific Rim, and a past recipient of the AGA National Chapter Service award. This Scholarship is open to students pursuing bachelor's degrees in accounting, business administration, or public administration at the University of Guam.
