The University of Guam Honors Five Members of the Class of 2024 for the UOG Athletic Hall of Fame On Saturday
The University of Guam on Saturday, through its Triton Athletics and Field House Department, honored five new members of the Class of 2024 for its UOG Athletic Hall of Fame in a ceremony in the UOG Calvo Field House.
Dr. Sharleen Santos-Bamba, the Senior Vice President and Provost at UOG, open the ceremony with the welcome from the University, followed by Dr. Gena A. Rojas, the Interim Dean of Enrollment Management and Student Success, with a welcome from EMSS. Athletic Director, Doug Palmer, then gave the State of Triton Athletics.
The ceremony then had event host, Kailey Quidachay, read the Class of 2024 personal bios and the reasons they are being placed in the Hall of Fame. Then each member of the Class of 2024 came upon the stage and gave a short speech to remind those in the audience, of the coaches, the players and others at UOG, and what they meant to new Hall of Famers.
Then the Hall of Famers had time to take pictures with family and friends and members of the UOG Administration in attendance with the "Big G".
The Class of 2024 was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Hall of Fame Basketball Game, at halftime.
