The Lady Bombers had to forfeit to the Lady Tritons last night in the final match of the Lady Tritons Volleyball League regular season. The Bombers had forgotten to add the name of a player who had participated in all three sets played up to that point and, by rule, had to forfeit the match. At the time of the forfeit, the Lady Tritons were leading 2-1.

The Tritons finished the regular season with a 4-1 record and will be the #2 Seed going into the playoffs. The Lady Bombers dropped to 2-3 in the league and will be the #4 Seed.

Guam Pro 1 beat Team Busta 3-1 in the night's opening match.

Guam Pro easily won the first two sets, 25-13 and 25-14. Team Busta showed some life in the third set and won it 25-23, but Guam Pro put the match away in the fourth set, winning 25-9.

Guam Pro 1 is 3-2 in the league and will be the #3 Seed for the playoffs. Team Busta finished the regular season 1-4 and will be the #5 Seed for the playoffs. 

The Lady Triton Volleyball League will start the playoffs on Monday, December 2, with the first round of the playoffs:

Monday, December 2 

  • 6:30 pm - #4 Seed Lady Bombers Vs. #5 Seed Team Busta
  • 8:15 pm - #3 Seed Guam Pro 1 Vs. #6 Seed Guam Pro 2 

#1 Seed Au Mana and #2 Seed the Lady Tritons get byes in the first round. The semi-finals will be on Wednesday, December 4, and the Championship/third-place matches will be played on Monday, December 9.
