The UOG Triton Summer Academy offers students to the opportunity to: 

• Experience college life with your peers before the semester begins.
• Take part in workshops designed to prepare you for the UOG math and English placement tests.
• Get direct, personal support from Financial Aid, Admissions, and other student services available at UOG.
  
  

“The Triton Summer Academy is a free, fun, and focused opportunity to help our newest students feel prepared to enter college-level classes and to help them meet new friends and feel a sense of belonging,” said Dr. Gena Rojas, Interim Dean of Enrollment Management and Student Success.

The one-week academy sessions will include a three-hour agenda daily, from Monday to Friday. Every day, the students will engage in an hour-long English Workshop, an hour-long math workshop, and an hour-long workshop focused on financial literacy and various student support services. The academy will also provide students the opportunity to test out of the developmental math class, providing them with a faster track to earning a degree.

JUNE 10-14

Cohort 1: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Cohort 2: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Deadline to apply is June 5th

JUNE 17-21

Cohort 3: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Cohort 4: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Deadline to apply is June 12th

JUNE 24-28

Cohort 5: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Cohort 6: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Deadline to apply is June 19th

JULY 8-12

Cohort 7: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Cohort 8: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Deadline to apply is July 2nd

Upon completion of the Triton Summer Academy, each student will be entered for a chance to win a $500 Scholarship, iPads, AirPods, Apple Watches, and more.
