In the News: Diaz sworn in as new marshal of the courts

Leo S. Diaz officially assumed the role of marshal of the courts on Monday in a swearing-in led by Chief Justice Robert J. Torres.

The ceremony, attended by Diaz’s family, Judiciary members, and distinguished guests, followed his unanimous appointment by the Judicial Council on Nov. 21, according to the Judiciary of Guam.

Diaz brings decades of experience to the Marshal Services Division.

A graduate of the University of Guam with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Diaz is a certified pressure tactics instructor, certified taser instructor, and certified active shooter instructor.
