Thank you: The Office of the President thanked David S. Okada and James R. Hollyer during a farewell gathering on September 30, 2023. The two are moving on after their respective years of service to the University. Okada, fourth from left, retired after serving UOG in various capacities including as Chief Planning Officer, Interim Chief of Staff, and Board Liaison for 16 years. He was 2021 Triton of the Year. Hollyer, center, also held key roles, including as the Special Assistant to the President and Acting Chief Planning Officer over the more than eight years he served UOG. Both received Board of Regents resolutions recognizing their contributions to UOG.
