Lifelong love for learning

"My experience through college has transformed me into a more knowledgeable, independent, and adaptable individual. It has instilled in me a lifelong love for learning and personal growth, equipping me with valuable skills and perspectives that will continue to shape my life beyond college. 'My worth every step of the way'

My family always supported and loved me through every challenge I faced in my undergraduate journey. My graduation is proof that no matter how tough the situation was, I persevered, and my best was more than enough to reach this milestone. I could not have done this without the people who reminded me of my worth every step of the way, so I dedicate my graduation to my loved ones and their unwavering faith in the woman I am because of the experiences and lessons that shaped me during my time at UOG.

Fostered growth as a healthcare professional

Through my college experience, I have become a stronger leader in the community as President of the Student Nurses Association of Guam. Working hand in hand with the people of Guåhan towards making our island a healthier community, I have become more aware of areas that my role as a nurse can help improve, such as in preventive care. Lastly, through outreaches on vaccinations, blood pressure and diabetes checks, and more, UOG has fostered my growth as both a local and global healthcare professional.
