Fanuchånan graduates of MPA program receive legislative resolution
The Master of Public Administration Fanuchånan 2022 graduates at the University of Guam received the Guam Legislature’s recognition via legislative Resolution 491-36 given on Dec. 30, 2022, in the Guam Congress Building in Hagåtña. Attending the presentation are, from left, Dr. John Rivera, former director of the MPA program and now part-time faculty; Sharleen Q. Santos-Bamba, Interim Vice Provost for Academic Excellence, Graduate Studies, and Online Learning; Sen. Amanda Shelton; and representing the graduates Vivian PM Valdes, Renee Q. Carpela, and Melissa E. Ngiralmau with Ngiralmau’s baby Emma Ngerbis Cruz. The resolution also acknowledged the graduates for having engaged the island community as ambassadors for the 60th anniversary of the Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority (GHURA).
