FEMA recruiting on campus for logistics specialists
The Federal Emergency Management Agency will hold a job fair at 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, on campus at the University of Guam.
The event will be held in the Jesus & Eugenia Leon Guerrero School of Business and Public Administration Building.
FEMA is hiring and or establishing a list of potential logistics specialists.
Reservists are also encouraged to apply for the on-call positions that will open during a declared federal disaster emergency declaration. These positions can be in the territories or U.S. states.
Assisting with accountable property to include shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, storing, distributing, and conducting an inventory of large volume and high-value supplies, equipment, or commodities; and
Utilizing computer programs, databases, spreadsheets, or mobile devices to record, track, analyze, and report data on accountable property.
All applicants must be U.S. citizens, 18 years of age or older, and possess a high school diploma or GED.
Individuals will be required to pass a background investigation that includes fingerprinting and credit check. Employees are also required to participate in mandatory direct deposit/electronic funds transfer for salary payment.
