Webinar: How to plan for health care decisions in advance
Members of the community will have an opportunity to learn about planning ahead for health care decisions in unforeseen circumstances in two upcoming webinars hosted by the Guam/Micronesia Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program under the University of Guam School of Health.
The webinars, titled "What Matters: Honoring Your Health Care Choices," will cover the process of discussing and choosing future health care and medical treatment options in the event a patient loses the ability to make or communicate personal health care decisions.
The sessions will be led by Annamma Varghese, an assisting professor of nursing at UOG who holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, and Dr. Delores J. Lee, a family medicine physician at Evergreen Health Center.
The sessions are free and open to members of the public in Guam and throughout Micronesia.
