Employees recognized at 2021 Triton Awards
Nine awardees among University of Guam employees were named at the annual Triton Awards Program, which was held before a virtual audience on Dec. 15.
In its fourth year since its revival, the program recognizes full-time University of Guam employees who demonstrate exemplary work, make significant contributions, and/or demonstrate outstanding service to his/her division or the University as a whole. The ceremony also recognized employees who have achieved special milestones last year.
The winners received an inscribed plaque, a certificate of recognition, and a monetary award.

The University also recognized the following 13 retired faculty, staff, and administrators with Certificates of Appreciation:
The University recognized 24 employees for their years of service at the University of Guam. Employees were presented with a Certificate for Service of 10-, 20-, or 30-years milestones.
The University recognized 9 staff employees and 13 faculty employees for their promotions at the University of Guam.
The University recognized 13 faculty employees who were granted tenure at the University of Guam.
And lastly, the University recognized the following four academic employees who were granted emeritus status with Certificates of Appreciation.
