Campus Advisory | Training on active shooter to include a couple of blank rounds per session
If you hear what may sound like a few gunshots on campus this afternoon, tomorrow and Friday, these could be from an active shooter training on campus.
As you may be aware, the University of Guam is conducting the Active Shooter Practical Training this week.
As part of the training, a couple of shots may be heard on campus during each of the sessions from simulated, blank rounds in and around locations and during the times listed below:
Today, November 16, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Robert F. Kennedy Library
Tomorrow, November 17, School of Business and Public Administration Building, Room 129, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Friday, November 18, School of Business and Public Administration Building, Room 129, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
UOG has notified law enforcement agencies, the emergency 911 dispatch, Guam Community College, George Washington High School, and the Mangilao Mayor’s Office.
