Rotary eClub awards its first scholarships to six UOG students
Six students received the first scholarships to be awarded from the Rotary eClub of Pago Bay Guam at a ceremony on May 18. The students — three undergraduate and three graduate — were chosen among more than 130 applicants and will each receive $500 toward their education at UOG.
With the motto “Service Above Self,” the Rotary eClub works to respond to various community needs by forming partnerships and leveraging resources.
The students were encouraged to join the Rotaract Club of the Marianas, a Rotary-sponsored youth leadership program, as a pathway to joining one of the five Rotary clubs in Guam in the future.
