'Know Your Status' Free Student Health Screenings
University of Guam students will be given the opportunity to receive free testing for HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases at a health screening event on Oct. 12 and 13, 2022.
The testing event, called “Know your status,” is being conducted through the Bureau of Communicable Disease Control, Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services’ STD/HIV Program.
Testing will cover Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, & Syphilis.
Health screening services to gauge blood pressure, heart rate, pulse, and respiratory functions as well as checks for blood sugar, weight, and body mass index will be conducted.
The STD/HIV Testing and vital sign screenings will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Student Health Services office.
Before the screenings, DPHSS will also hold an STD/HIV presentation at the Iya Hami Residence Halls, Dorm 2 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m on Oct. 12 and 13.
