UOG photo book heralds Marine Lab’s 50th anniversary

“We sweat and cry salt water, so we know that the ocean is really in our blood.”
So starts the stunning photography book, “University of Guam Marine Laboratory: 50
Years of Science & Service.”
Teresia Teaiwa’s words from “The Ocean in Us” comprise one of many beautiful musings
on the ocean and marine life in the collection.
The book, which will be released in May by the University of Guam Marine Laboratory,
is a celebration of the Lab’s work and features photography and writing from faculty,
students and colleagues.
