Global Learning & Engagement team conducts literacy training in Saipan
From June 13 to June 17, the University of Guam Global Learning & Engagement team held a Science of Reading Training in Saipan. More than 150 teachers within the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands Public School System gathered to learn more about the science of reading and its role in improving classroom literacy and instruction. The training — conducted by GLE instructors Teresa Taitague and Clare Camacho — provided teachers from Saipan with information and resources on developing lessons and strategies using teaching practices connected to the science of reading.
