Free medical outreach clinic for senior citizens on Feb. 19
Senior citizens will have an opportunity next weekend to receive a free physical
exam and blood sugar check hosted by the Todu Guam Foundation and the Guam/Micronesia
Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program under the University of Guam School of Health.
Residents will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis from 8 a.m. – noon on Saturday,
Feb. 19, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Social Hall in Yigo.
Conducting the physicals will be Dr. Delores Lee, a family medicine specialist at
Evergreen Health Center, and nurse practitioner Stephanie Taijeron with Health Services
of the Pacific.
The event will also provide education and activities related to healthy aging and
dementia, including exercise demonstrations to help maintain mobility.
