Are you workforce-ready? Attend these workshops April 18-21
Soon-to-graduate University of Guam students are invited to prime themselves for the workforce over a series of employment workshops being held by the UOG Career Development Office the week of April 18. The workshops also are timed to precede the CDO's annual job fair coming up on April 27.
Students may register to attend any or all of the following:
Monday, April 18
10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Resumé Writing
Learn what employers are looking for in a resumé and how you can construct yours to
ensure you land an interview.
Tuesday, April 19
10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Application Processing
Learn how to properly fill in a job application, or get help applying for a job opening
on the spot!
Wednesday, April 20
10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Dress for Success
Learn how to dress appropriately for a job interview.
Thursday, April 21
10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Mock Job Interviews
Learn about the different types of job interviews, and get comfortable answering on-the-spot
questions by practicing in a mock interview setting.
All workshops will be held in the dining hall in the Student Center on campus. There is no cost to participate.
