Welcome wave brings energetic start to school year
The University of Guam community including President Thomas Krise welcomed students back to campus for Fanuchånan 2021 with an energetic welcome wave on the first day of classes on Aug. 18. Big smiles and cheers behind face masks and high-flying UOG pennants and trident foam fingers expressed the excitement of returning to campus for the first in-person semester since the pandemic.
The majority of declared students are majoring in business administration, pre-nursing, and biology. Classes will be offered in face-to-face, online, hybrid, and hyflex formats.
