The Global Learning & Engagement office took part in the following activities this
week:
WERI Advisory Council Meeting: On Wednesday, Nov. 17, UOG GLE provided virtual event management for the last day of the WERI Advisory Council Meetings.
The meeting, which focused on Guam, was attended by more 100 people including representatives
from the government, military, and private sector.
G3 Conservation Corps Graduation: On Friday, Nov. 19, the G3 Conservation Corps celebrated the graduation of its 12
members after a five-month program focusing on island sustainability. UOG GLE provided
administrative and professional development support for the program.
Health Clinic: On Saturday, Nov. 20, UOG GLE assisted the School of Health in its vaccination drive,
health clinic, and community cleanup at the Zero Down and Gill-Baza communities in
Yigo. More than 60 people received their flu and COVID-19 vaccinations as well as
books, toys, and clothes as part of the outreach.
