Part four of the tour -- taking place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and again from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday -- will focus on the museum’s fifth gallery, “Ti Geran Måmi,” which translates into “A War Not of Our Making.” The exhibit depicts the experiences of the people of Guam under the Japanese occupation during World War II from 1941 to 1944. 

Guam Museum Curator Michael Lujan Bevacqua, who holds a doctorate in ethnic studies and specializes in CHamoru history, language, and culture, will be conducting the virtual tour. 

The virtual tour is part of G/M GWEP’s online support groups for family caregivers of persons with dementia. The tour is meant to provide a stimulating and meaningful experience for participants to enjoy from the comfort and safety of their homes.
