The Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research, and Service at the University of Guam will host its 26th Annual Guam System for Assistive Technology Conference virtually from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Nov. 6, and again on Friday, Nov. 13.
Co-sponsored by the Guam Legal Services Corp. – Disability Law Center and the Guam Developmental Disabilities Council, the conference is intended for individuals with disabilities as well as family members, caregivers, employers, senior living providers, students, therapists, educators, and individuals from local organizations and the community who provide support to individuals with disabilities.

be the key to meeting today’s challenges.”
Following the theme “Creating Opportunities in a Changing World,” the conference will
include two keynote presentations:

Ph.D., ATP, Director of the Assistive Technology in New Hampshire program in the Institute
on Disability at the University of New Hampshire and a Clinical Associate Professor
in the Department of Occupational Therapy
• “Four Decades of Exploration in Assistive Technology: From Toys to Term Papers”
by Neil A. Rochelle, M.S. Ed., CAS, Educational Administrator (District) - Project
