UOG Announcement: Welcome to online learning, Tritons!
Classes will resume April 6 in all-online formats. While we will all be physically apart in our learning this semester, you definitely won’t be alone in navigating this new online learning world.
Any help you may need with online learning tools and any questions you may have on
how the COVID-19 lockdown will affect the rest of this semester can be found at one
convenient webpage: www.uog.edu/it/online-learning.
Online learning tools
Visit the Tools tab to learn about handy software to collaborate with classmates on group projects and to get help with the platforms your instructors will be using. Here, you’ll find instructions, videos, and FAQs for logging onto and utilizing Moodle, Zoom, Skype for Business, and Microsoft Teams.
Live one-hour trainings
If you’re not comfortable with a certain platform, or need help with other aspects of online learning, such as optimizing your home internet connection, view the Training tab to see when you can join a one-hour Zoom video training session conducted by our campus IT specialists.
